COURT ROOM EXHIBITS

Hi Counselor,

My name is Dennis Carmichael and I’m a freelance designer/ illustrator newly based here in Port Hueneme. The last time I was a jury member, a personal injury case at the Santa Monica Courthouse, I couldn’t help but notice the uninspired quality of the attorney’s exhibits.  Wouldn’t their ability to explain points they were making be helped by well designed, attractive graphics?  Powerful exhibits that clearly illustrate the story they were trying to tell.

What if attorneys could work in real time, from their office or from anywhere in the world, with their trial exhibits designer?  Make changes to their materials easily from their own computer.  Not wait hours or days to update an exhibit, based on the latest information.

This is how I work collaboratively with my clients using a screen sharing program that is free and universally platform friendly.  I do the graphics, illustrations, 2 and 3D models, charts, power points, videos, and whatever else is needed to make the case clear and persuasive. Then the client can view the results or work along from any location via the net and update the results in real time. Or schedule a convenient delivery time. This a 24/7 service, and a deadline is a deadline.

A little about me.  I’m an old Art Center College of Design boy who is both traditionally and digitally skilled.  I can draw and paint photo-realistically. Build light weight scale models. Digitally create graphics, illustrations, videos, and animations for both projection and easel display. Because of my background I have become a kind of a commercial art, Swiss Army knife.

I have worked for Charles Eames, done sets and props at Juilliard, been featured in Communication Art’s Advertising annual, created work for most of the major ad agencies, and illustrated one of the most publicized print ads ever done (the double page TransAmerican pop up in Time magazine).  Also, I was an Army officer and have served on both sides of a court-martial. I work quickly and my prices are affordable.

If you have a few minutes take a look at my web site.  You might be pleasantly surprised.
